Our non-profit group, which protects and preserves the North County beaches from Carlsbad to Cardiff, is seeking an Event Organizer and Committee Chairpersons for its biggest annual charity fundraiser called Christmas in July.

Join a passionate group of beach preservationists and work on a 6-month planning project from home. Friends of Cardiff & Carlsbad State Beaches is seeking a volunteer Event Organizer to work on its popular Christmas in July fundraiser, scheduled for July 28, 2012. This will be the fifth year for this fun family event held at South Carlsbad State Beach. Watch the video to see Carlsbad Patch's TV coverage of our event last year.

The Event Organizer mostly works from home but will need to be able to attend monthly FCCSB board meetings on the last Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m.
