lemon cream, strawberries and blackberries

nutella and banana

slow roasted pulled pork

old fashioned peanut butter and jelly

Next time I'd like a try a combo of peanut butter and nutella with bananas and strawberries. It's not on the menu but would be a killer combination in my opinion.

One of Carlsbad Patch's twitter followers gave us a review on the the chicken with arugula, Brie, and garlic aioli waffle sandwich: "Loved the filling, wished the waffle was crispier."

BOXD owner James Markham said he plans to open another location in Encinitas and is also opening the Pie Project, a pizza place with a Chipolte-like concept that stacks three shipping containers together to allow customers to order from the inside. The Pie Project's first location is set for Hillcrest.

Have you tried BOXD? What do you think of the concept and food?
