Carlsbad-Area Man Arrested at Temecula Home on Drug Charges

Temecula police responded Sunday to a residence on Ko River Court after obtaining a lead indicating 31-year-old Ryan Thorman, of Carlsbad and Temecula, was at the location.

A man wanted on an outstanding narcotics warrant out of San Diego County was arrested during a probation search of a Temecula home, according to police.

Officers with the Temecula Police Department responded at 10:30 a.m. Sunday to a residence on Ko River Court after obtaining a lead indicating 31-year-old Ryan Joseph Thorman was at the location, Temecula police Sgt. Steve Fredericks stated in a news release.

Thorman, of Carlsbad and Temecula, was located at the residence.

Officers searched the home—pursuant to Thorman's probation terms—where they allegedly found "a significant quantity of heroin, along with methamphetamine, unlawfully possessed prescription narcotics and packaging and paraphernalia indicative of illicit narcotics sales," Fredericks stated.

Thorman was arrested and booked at Southwest Detention Center near Murrieta, where he was being held as of Monday on $30,000 bail, jail records showed.
