Jewish Film Festival Hits Screens in San Diego

The 22nd Annual San Diego Jewish Film Festival will bring more than 40 films to five theaters through Feb. 19.

The San Diego Jewish Film Festival is showing award-winning films, features, documentaries, shorts and animated films across San Diego County. The annual film festival runs through Feb. 19.

Films are showing at the Carlsbad Village Theatre, Edwards San Marcos, JCC Garfield Theatre in La Jolla, Reading Cinemas 14 in Clairemont and UltraStar Mission Valley.

Visit sdcjc.org/sdjff/ to search for film by location, date, genre, title or even special searches including "baby & me," "teen screen," "free screening," and "parents night out."

Many of the film screenings will be followed by discussion and Q&A session with guest speakers. For example, following Jews in Toons, Emmy Award winning writer Mike Reiss of The Simpsons will speak and following Incessant Visions - Letters from an Architect, San Diego-based designer Wallace E. Cunningham will speak.
