Local artist Bryan Snyder of Carlsbadcrawl.com decided to use his artistic talent to create an "Informed Voter" sign to put up next to all the candidate signs in Carlsbad. 

Snyder writes on his website: "I am standing up to signage and the candidates who think their blanketing of the village is the right way to gain votes. I am educated and able to make my own decision, one which comes through research, attended forums and a thorough investigation of character, not by driving down the road." 

Snyder adds "some 'Thinker' installations remain in the streets. They are signed, numbered and dated. If you find one, you can take it home."
