It's official Punxsutawney Phil and Bear Goodman have the same forecast: six more weeks of winter.
Bear confirmed that he saw his shadow in Carlsbad around 9 a.m. Feb. 2.
Punxsutawney Phil, the weather prognosticating groundhog, came to the same conclusion early Feb. 2 at the 126th celebration of Groundhog Day on Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawney, PA.
