Get to know Amy Hendricks, owner of Carlsbad Stand-Up Paddleboard Club and the sport that got her and her family hooked.
Amy Hendricks left her career as a real estate agent to open Carlsbad Stand-Up Paddleboard Club on the lagoon. Her husband Jason stopped working for UPS and now custom makes all the boards.
The sport has taken off in Southern California and especially here in Carlsbad. "Anyone can paddleboard," explains Hendricks.
