Feng Shui Creates Positive Energy (Chi)

Feng Shui is an ancient spiritual discipline that is used to enhance your living environment and is used for nourishing and healing your soul. In a Feng Shui practice one is enriching the soul by directing the energy's of universe and natural elements such as wind, earth, water and metals into it.

  •  First and foremost --Clean out the clutter!
  • Allow as much natural light inside your home as possible and open windows to increase air flow.
  • Plants are great for oxygenating your space
  • Essential Oils are great for cleansing and relaxing
  • Always Be Mindful of the Feel of Your Home and how its energy influences your well-being. Pay close attention to your bedroom, your bathroom and your kitchen. Nothing is static in the world of energy, so be wise and keep your home healthy and happy ")
  • Bedroom-  This room should create a harmonious, sensual energy flow. Your bed should be furthest away from the door but weather it faces N, S, E,or W is not as important as the position from the door. So, if your door is on the right then your bed should be positioned in the left corner but you must be able to see who is approaching the door from the bed when laying on your back in the middle or side of the bed. If you are stretching, turning or lifting to see the door (or person in doorway) you have not positioned your bed correctly. It is also important that you do not line your bed up with the doorway. As I have stated in my previous blogs ..no TV or Exercise equipment in the bedroom. Candles evoke warmth and relaxation but make sure you get ones without toxins. Only hang pictures and paintings that draw positive messages to you. A dear friend of mine actually took down a Picasso replica "Girl Before A Mirror" because it created negative energy for me. He replaced it with an Inspiration Board and life as I knew it transformed.
  • Bathroom Can be a great way to bring in the water elements. Candles are also perfect for this room as well as a shell filled with dry flowers and essential oils dropped onto them. Having a good mirror with proper lighting is very important and can make a huge difference in overall mood. Create a spa like retreat by bringing in music, a tray for a beverage and a book or magazine. Keep the room warm!
  • he food you eat gives you energy. For this energy to be of high and healing quality, the food needs to be prepared in a harmonious and well-organized kitchen with a balanced flow of Chi, or feng shui energy. Keep clutter off the counters, create proper lighting and and don't overload with gadgets.  Bowls of colorful fruit and fresh flowers are great for chi . Yellow is good for digestion so having yellow squash is perfect. The kitchen is considered to be the heart of the home and needs to be well designed to allow the energy to flow throughout.
