Chantel Cappuccilli was born and raised in Carlsbad, attending Jefferson Elementary, Valley Junior High and CHS. Chantel was captain of the CHS Women's Varsity Soccer Program and is a Carlsbad High School 2008 graduate.
For the past 3 years Chantel has played soccer for Cal Baptist University. Last month, CBU won their second D2 division title with Chantel's winning goal in overtime with 1 minute left against Point Loma.
Chantel and her team at Cal Baptist University (Riverside) went on to win the Women's Soccer National Championship for their division for the 2nd year in a row on December 1, 2012. Their incredible stats are 18-2-1 conference with a 14 game winning streak. Chantel received Most Valuable Defensive Player of the NCCAA tournament.
Chantel is currently finishing up her masters at CBU in Kinesiology.
