Halstrom High School Offers Summer School Programs at the New Carlsbad Campus

Halstrom’s 1:1 Classes Helps Students Make Up and Get Ahead This Summer

Halstrom High School’s flexible scheduling helps students get ahead or remediate courses with 3,4,5 &10-week summer programs. Halstrom’s one-teacher-to-one-student classroom model guarantees content mastery and enables students to take charge of their learning and succeed at their own pace.

Halstrom is WASC and its summer school program offers more than 150 courses including an AP program, 67 U.C./C.S.U. certified courses, and 66 NCAA approved courses.

Halstrom serves an array of students, such as those who learn differently, those who are affected by social distractions and those with ADHD, dyslexia, or other disabilities who find a nurturing, supportive community that creates a healthy learning environment. Accelerated learners, as well as working students, aspiring professional artists and athletes have found in Halstrom a high school that offers the flexibility they need so they can reach both their professional and educational aspirations. Notable Halstrom High School alumni include Olympic skater Sasha Cohen, television actress Blake Lively, and professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler

Students in grades 7 to 12 may take a full course load, individual courses, course credit remediation, SAT Prep, college counseling and tutoring classes at the Carlsbad or San Diego campuses, in addition to Halstrom’s online one-to-one class offerings.

“Supporting and celebrating each student as an individual, understanding that each student will learn differently, and providing the opportunity each student deserves to maximize their potential is what Halstrom does best,” said San Diego County Regional Director Evelyn Nichols.

An Open House & Informational Session is scheduled for June 27, 2012, from 5PM – 8PM at the new Carlsbad campus. The public is invited to attend. For more information about Halstrom High School, please visit www.halstromhs.org or to attend the Open House call (760) 585.4659.

'...MPH degree program to attend a 3-day workshop ... challenge the CNA licensure examination inRead More California.... ... Aristotle felt that by becoming licensed professionals in the U.S. shortly after their arrival to the shores of the U.S., they would have a greater opportunity to receive better clinical positions when they applied for the work-study internships that they were eligible to participate in....' the school told students that were enrolled in masters' degrees that certification as a cna was part of the road to obtaining a masters degree ?? stop right there... masters in public health is an administrative position that has nothing to do with being a cna....and i'm sure people didn't travel thousands of miles to do the grunt work in a hospital.... yea, getting a cna license is a great suggestion for an 18 year old that's going into the nursing field....but not for someone in the masters' program.... and fyi phony college.....in this country a person has to have a 4 year degree before they can apply for the masters' program....
