Halstrom’s 1:1 Classes Helps Students Make Up and Get Ahead This Summer
Halstrom High School’s flexible scheduling helps students get ahead or remediate courses with 3,4,5 &10-week summer programs. Halstrom’s one-teacher-to-one-student classroom model guarantees content mastery and enables students to take charge of their learning and succeed at their own pace.
Halstrom is WASC and its summer school program offers more than 150 courses including an AP program, 67 U.C./C.S.U. certified courses, and 66 NCAA approved courses.
Halstrom serves an array of students, such as those who learn differently, those who are affected by social distractions and those with ADHD, dyslexia, or other disabilities who find a nurturing, supportive community that creates a healthy learning environment. Accelerated learners, as well as working students, aspiring professional artists and athletes have found in Halstrom a high school that offers the flexibility they need so they can reach both their professional and educational aspirations. Students in grades 7 to 12 may take a full course load, individual courses, course credit remediation, SAT Prep, college counseling and tutoring classes at the Carlsbad or San Diego campuses, in addition to Halstrom’s online one-to-one class offerings.
