High School Rock Bands Wanted For Carlsbad Show

We're looking for two High School rock bands, in North County San Diego only, to open up for the Beatles' tribute band: "Blackbyrd", held Saturday, November 2nd, 2013.

This concert will be held at the Carlsbad Cultural Arts Center located at Carlsbad High School, in Carlsbad, CA.

Each High School band will be given a 30 to 40 minute set performing in front of an audience of up to 406 people. This is a charitable event, so all bands (including headlining band "Blackbyrd"), will perform for free; however, food and beverages will be provided for all bands. If you have CD's or T-Shirts you want to sell you may do so while keeping all the proceeds from your sales. If you do sell CD's you can only sell CD's that contain your original music; you cannot sell CD's that have copyrighted material from other artists (unless you have verifiable, written consent from artist(s)).

We're picking the bands this Saturday (8/17/2013) - so send us your links ASAP!

No free tickets. Band, and band crew/parents can come for free, but must stay either back stage, in green room, or in dressing room. This is a fund-raiser, so we need all seats to be available for people buying tickets. If your parents and crew decide to sit in reserved seating that fine too, but they must buy a ticket.

If you are picked you will have to sign an agreement and photo/video release waiver.
