INTERFAITH BACCALAUREATE SERVICE TO BE HELD ON JUNE 9, 2013

Carlsbad High School seniors are invited to attend the 2013 Carlsbad High School Interfaith Baccalaureate Service to be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, corner of Monroe Street and Chestnut Ave. The hour-long service will be an inspirational evening that will include speakers and participants from several churches in Carlsbad...Pastor Chris Hilkin of North Coast Church, Deacon Mike Frazee of St. Patrick's Parish, Pastor JC Cooper of Rancho del Rey Church, and Pres. Steven Pynes of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition, Carlton Lund, Chairman of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, will provide the main address. Music selections will be provided by CHS alumni and concertmaster Dane Pearson; the CHS Chamber Singers under the direction of Choral Director Christy Owen, and organist Carolynn Smith. CHS Senior Class President Levi Sebahar will present opening remarks. City and educational dignitaries planning to attend include Carlsbad Mayor Matt Hall; City Council Members Mark Packard, Farrah Douglas, and Lorraine Wood; Principal Matt Steitz, and Carlsbad School Board members Elisa Williamson, Ann Tanner, and Lisa Rodman. Families of the graduating seniors, friends, religious leaders of all faiths and congregations are invited to attend.
