This class will present a practical look at the complexities of international business contracting and an analysis of the laws and risks inherent in transactions that cross national boundaries.

“Being more knowledgeable about the contracts, how they are formed, how they are negotiated, how they started, and how they end, helps me when I do my own business,” said student Maung Tin Hla, a small business administrator at General Atomics in San Diego. “At the same time, I can help the other side. I can also offer them help – how to invest and how to help with the process.”

This Professional Certificate in Contract Management/Advanced Contract Management program is offered in cooperation with the San Diego Chapter of the National Contract Management Association. The program’s advisory board, made up of industry experts, has updated topics of interest to both federal and commercial practitioners. More than one course may be taken at a time.
