Photos: Carlsbad Fire Dispatched to Del Mar Apartment Fire
Two apartments were destroyed in a two alarm fire.
A two alarm apartment fire destroyed at least two units and damaged others near 2801 Camino Del Mar.
The fire was dispatched at 2:51 p.m. According to firefighters, the fire started on the second floor above the parking garage and spread to the unit above. Both units were destroyed and two other units were reportedly damaged by smoke and water.
Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, San Diego, , Solana Beach, Encinitas, and Vista Fire Departments all had units on scene to assist in the firefighting efforts.
