Bat Presentation Gets Kids in the Spooky Spirit

A bat presentation at a local discovery center gets kids up close and personal with the flying mammals.

With Halloween approaching in the next few weeks, it’s only appropriate that a local discovery center is hosting a presentation with a signature holiday animal.

The is holding a presentation on bats this weekend. Kids and families can come listen to Cindy Meyers, a Project Wildlife bat expert, give the facts on the strange, flying mammals. You’ll learn about their “sight,” their wings and why they’re such important pollinators.

The best part of the bat presentation? You’ll see live bats! It’s the perfect way to get the kids into Halloween mode—as if they need help!

The takes place on Saturday at ’s Discovery Center. The bat action begins at 12:30 p.m. and costs a suggested donation of just $2.
