'OLIVER!' MUSICAL PRODUCTION OPENING NIGHT

  • What's Up: North County School of Arts (NCSA) will present the brodway musical, "Oliver!" The family friendly production will have shows until Sunday, April 7.
  • When: 7 p.m. on Friday, April 5; 2 & 7 p.m. Saturday, April 6; 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 7
  • Where: Carlsbad Cultural Arts Center, 3557 Monroe St, Carlsbad
  • Price: $15 General Admission; $10 Kids 12 & under

CARLSBAD 5000

  • What's Up: Gear up and participate in the fastest 5K in Southern California. Runners of all ages and skill level are welcome.

  • Price: $50

OCEANSIDE YACHT CLUB OPENING DAY

  • What's Up: Oceanside Yacht Club will celebrate boating season and host Opening Day. The event will feature a boat parade, ceremony and more. 
  • When: Noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 7
  • Where: Oceanside Yacht Club, 1950 Harbor Dr N, Oceanside

CHRIS MONTGOMERY QUARTET

  • What's Up: The Friends of the Encinitas Library will present jazz guitarist, Chris Montgomery. The quartet will take the audience through a musical journey. 
  • When: 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 7
  • Where: Encinitas Library, 540 Cornish Dr, Encinitas
  • Price: Free 

CABARETCACCIA: TANGO NUEGO BY CAMARADA

  • What's Up: The last concert in the series will feature the chamber music ensemble, Camarada.  CabaretCaccia presenter and singer, Ann Chase, will sing an excerpt from Piazzolla’s opera Maria de Buenos Aires.
  • When: 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 7
