Construction Delays Through Winter on Cannon Near Avenida Encinas

Construction work began in Carlsbad at the southwest corner of Avenida Encinas and Cannon Road in late June. Trench work will begin in August on both Cannon Road and Faraday Avenue. Work on Faraday Avenue will move eastward and continue through the winter. Work on Cannon Road is expected to be complete by mid-December. 

Scheduled construction hours in Carlsbad are from 7.a.m. to 6 p.m.
During construction commuters may experience temporary lane closures, detours, reduced lane widths, and equipment along the route. Drivers should proceed with caution and allow more time to reach their destination.
