Get your vocal chords warmed up, all you Ron Burgundy wannabes. And tune up your jazz flute while you're at it. The Padres announced Tuesday they will hold a casting call to audition candidates for a public address announcer position.
The tryouts will start at 9 a.m. Jan. 25 at Petco Park. Semi-finalists will advance to an interview, and finalists will get to showcase their skills at the annual Padres FanFest, which is scheduled for Feb. 8.
