Community Prayer Breakfast

Carlsbad, CA –  On Thursday, May 3, 2012, Carlsbad and Oceanside Republican Women Federated will host a nondenominational National Day of Prayer Community Prayer Breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn, 6450 Carlsbad Blvd, Carlsbad, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  Public officials, military personnel and business professionals will join Keynote Speaker, former Senator Bill Morrow on the program to pray for our cities, states and nation.  Catholic Radio Host Mary Moran will serve as Mistress of Ceremony.  Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Debbie Kash, Captain USAF, retired and the Posting of Colors ceremony will be performed by the Navy Color Guard.  Carlsbad Mayor Pro Tem Ann Kulchin will provide welcome remarks.    The program will include readings from the Old and New Testaments.  

The event is patterned after the National Day of Prayer Breakfast held annually in Washington, D.C. and is being dedicated in honor of our United States Military.  The Community Prayer Breakfast is open to the public and people from every faith are invited to pray in their religious tradition.  The cost is $30 per person and we encourage businesses and community organizations to purchase a table for $300.  Purchase advance tickets by Wednesday, April 25.  Make checks payable to: CRWF and mail to National Day of Prayer c/o M.  Local units of the National Federation of Republican Women, the Carlsbad and Oceanside Republican Women Federated are organized to help preserve our fundamental American values. Membership benefits include: voter education, legislative issues; advocacy and legislative lobbying; county-wide voter registration, get-out-the-vote (local, state, national); Republican candidate selection and support; community involvement; financial outreach to local Young Republicans, College Republicans, as well as support of our military and other "Caring for America" activities.
