THE FLOWER FIELDS OPENING WEEKEND

  • What's Up: Explore 50 acres of giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields. Opening Weekend will feature wagon rides, colorful displays, rose gardens, and more!
  • When: Open daily, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 1 through Sunday May 12
  • Where: The Flower Fields, 5704 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad
  • Price: $6-11

SEUSS CELEBRATION AT THE LIBRARY

  • What's Up: Happy 109th Birthday Dr. Seuss! Library will hold a special event with Dr. Seuss themed activities including storytime, crafts and cake.
  • When: 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2
  • Where: Oceanside Library, 330 N Coast Hwy, Oceanside
  • Price: Free

SOUTH COAST CHAMBER CHOIR AND MIRACOSTA CHOIR CONCERT

  • What's Up: South Coast Chamber Choir and MiraCosta Choir will join together for an evening of music. 
  • When: 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 2
  • Where: MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Dr, Oceanside. 
  • Price: $10

FREE FAMILY ART DAY AT OCEANSIDE MUSEUM OF ART

  • What's Up: Kids and families will learn how to create art using using wood, paper, styrofoam, tin foil, wire, yarn and other objects.
  • When: 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 4
  • Where: Oceanside Museum of Art, 704 Pier View Way, Oceanside
  • Price: Free 

LADY OF THE LOCH AND RAGGLE TAGGLE FEATURING ADRIENNE NIMS

  • What's Up: The first Sunday series will host Lady of the Loch and Raggle Taggle featuring Adrienne Nims. Listen to the sounds of Celtic and world music.
  • When: 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 4
  • Where: Encinitas Library, 540 Cornish Dr, Encinitas
