Kids for Peace, Shoebacca, Marines, UCSD Men's Basketball Team, Carlsbad High Dancers and Splash! Animals unite for a good cause and invite you to join in the philantropic efforts.

San Diego County residents are invited to go to the 24 Hour Fitness on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday to help students in Kenya.

Carlsbad's Kids for Peace, is putting on the free event—which will be held at the overflow lot located at 1265 Laurel Tree Ln.— that will feature an afternoon of service, fun, action and entertainment to benefit the Kids for Peace School of Kenya.

Shoebacca donated 200 pairs of shoes for students of the school in Africa. Event participants will enjoy several "Service-Stations" where they can decorate notes for all the shoes, create needed school supplies and more.

Also on hand will be Marines leading an obstacle course and UCSD Men's basketball team hosting a basketball shooting station.

Entertainment will include talented teen Cody Lovaas, and Splash! Animals, a live art experience committed to the conservation of endangered animals.

The free event will also feature a community flash mob dance featuring Kids for Peace, Girl Scouts, students from dozens of San Diego County schools, Marines, and more. The dance will be filmed for the students in Kenya to remind them that they have friends in San Diego.

'...MPH degree program to attend a 3-day workshop ... challenge the CNA licensure examination inRead More California.... ... Aristotle felt that by becoming licensed professionals in the U.S. shortly after their arrival to the shores of the U.S., they would have a greater opportunity to receive better clinical positions when they applied for the work-study internships that they were eligible to participate in....' the school told students that were enrolled in masters' degrees that certification as a cna was part of the road to obtaining a masters degree ?? stop right there... masters in public health is an administrative position that has nothing to do with being a cna....and i'm sure people didn't travel thousands of miles to do the grunt work in a hospital.... yea, getting a cna license is a great suggestion for an 18 year old that's going into the nursing field....but not for someone in the masters' program.... and fyi phony college.....in this country a person has to have a 4 year degree before they can apply for the masters' program....
