Here’s the scoop for this week:

• It’s certainly not the most celebrated day, but today is indeed the day you must pay Uncle Sam. If you need a few last minute tax tips, we have you covered .

• Earth Day is this weekend. Sign up for the in Carlsbad on April 22. The scenic run starts at Cannon Park at 7 a.m. Every participant will get a Plant-A-Tree kit instead of an event t-shirt. 

• Plan a road trip! Free National Parks Week starts April 21. Get free access into more than 100 National Parks that normally charge an entrance fee. Here is the list of parks: nps.gov/findapark/feefreeparksbystate.htm
