Local Lagoon Celebrates Turkey This Weekend
Before Christmas celebrations comes turkey time.
Agua Hedionda Lagoon is making sure we get an early Thanksgiving.
The Lagoon is bringing the Carlsbad Library’s storytime to its Discovery Center this weekend. Kids and parents can come join others for a special storytime with a festive theme —turkeys!
Turkey Talk is an interactive event for kids of all ages. There will be a turkey-themed craft for the kids to work on and a Thanksgiving story will be read. After the story, kids can take a nature walk with a Lagoon guide.

Want to celebrate Thanksgiving with your children before they start to think about Christmas? Visit the ’s Discover Center, located at 1580 Cannon Rd., this Saturday. The turkey talk time is an hour long, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Cost is completely free.
