Mini Golf 'fore' the Library Sept. 18

Community invited to putt through the library at miniature golf fundraiser.

Don’t miss the chance to putt your way through Carlsbad City Library! On Sunday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Carlsbad Library and Arts Foundation will host its third fundraiser.

Play a nine-hole miniature golf course that creatively winds its way through the first and second floors of the library. Kids will enjoy a special activity area featuring crafts, balloon animals, clowns and face painting. Shop for a good cause at the silent auction, which will feature items ranging from sailing excursions to theater tickets to gift baskets. End your afternoon by dancing to live music by country rock band City Limits.

“Mini Golf ‘fore’ the Library will be fun for all ages,” said Neil Black, Carlsbad Library and Arts Foundation president. “Proceeds benefit the foundation’s goal of supporting library and arts programs and facilities. Show your support while having a terrific time with family and friends.”
