Spring is Blooming

The Carlsbad Flower Fields offer a nice view and family-friendly activities to boot!

Spring is in full bloom. And if you need evidence, just visit the Carlsbad Flower Fields.

The opened March 1 and will continue to be open through May 13. The great news is their peaking now. Of course, weather can be a hindrance so if you’re wondering if the flowers are worth taking a gander at, checks the Fields’ current conditions here.

If you love ranunculus but want a little something more, pick an eventful day to go. Some upcoming fun-filled days at the Flower Fields worth checking out include:

March 31: Once Upon a Forest

  • Fairies and sugarplums can come visit the Fields for a fairy parade and a special sculpture by Gerry Kirk.

April 1: Kids Day

  • Bring the kids down for crafts, a journey through sweet pea maze, face painting and even Ronald McDonald.

April 8: Easter Sunrise Service

  • Enjoy a sunrise service for Easter surrounded by beautiful flowers. The Fields Church will be holding a worship service with music at 6:30 a.m. Dress warmly!

April 14: Bluegrass Day

  • Summergrass San Diego will be pickin’ their fiddles in the field. Enjoy live music and the beautiful view.

Are you ready to see Spring in action? Visit the this weekend with the family for some beautiful photo ops and fun activities. Cost is $11 for adults, $10 for seniors 60+, $6 for children 3-10 and children 2 and under are free.

Wagon rides through the colorful rows of flowers are available for $3-$5. Enjoy the view!
