Carlsbad Education Foundation Hosts Robot Rally and Competition
The future engineers in the FLL and FTC robotics programs showcased their robots.
The Carlsbad Educational Foundation held a district-wide FIRST Showcase event to show off the teams inventions while competing in the old gymnasium of Carlsbad High School the evening of March 28.
The audience was filled with several parents, teachers, sponsors, and students.
The purpose for this event was to acknowledge the programs sponsors and the teams.

"It is the end of the season, so it is a great time to let the teams compete against each other, and it shows the sponsors where their money is being donated" said Valin Brown, CEO of Carlsbad Educational Foundation "After all they are investing in the future engineers."
Making robots uses a different form of science and math.

"This really jazzes up what they are doing they are using science and math, and they are having fun with it" said Brown.
