Carlsbad Nonprofit Makes Breast Cancer Art

Keep A Breast Foundation's "Treasured Chest" program gives women a unique way to deal with the disease.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so it seems fitting to spotlight the Keep A Breast Foundation. The Carlsbad-based nonprofit has four full time employees and an army of volunteers. One unique way the group is making a difference is through its Treasured Chest Program, in which women newly diagnosed with breast cancer get their torso cast into a piece of art. Check out the short video to learn more about the program and see some of these beautiful Breast Casts.
