Carlsbad Senior Center Open on Saturdays Starting Sept. 7

The 50+ population of Carlsbad is encouraged to attend an open house that will showcase Saturday activities at the Senior Center on Sept. 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The public is invited to an open house at the Carlsbad Senior Center on Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., to officially launch its new Saturday hours. Ping pong for table tennis enthusiasts, educational presentations, enrichment classes and more for adults 50+ will be offered every Saturday, starting Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Attend the open house to learn first-hand about the Senior Center’s diverse programs and activities now available on Saturdays, including the fitness room, billiards room, lounge, computer lab and meeting and event rooms available for rent.

“We realize that many individuals in the 50+ population are not able to participate in our programs offered during the week because of work or other commitments, “said Kevin Granse, recreation area manager, Carlsbad Senior Center.
