Day Trip Idea: World of Color at Disneyland's California Adventure

Here's a video clip from the nighttime water and light show at California Adventure located about 61 miles from Carlsbad.

More than one thousand jets of water are used to create the World of Color show where Disney characters come to life on a misty screen on water.

There's also a new Little Mermaid ride at the theme park. Across the way at Disneyland, the park is decorated in the annual Halloween theme.
