Brooke Burke Hosts Legoland Tree Lighting Ceremony

Brooke Burke from the number one rated TV show Dancing with the Stars is coming to Carlsbad to help light the world's largest Lego Christmas tree at Legoland California's eighth annual Tree Lighting Ceremony honoring Operation Smile, an international children's medical charity whose network of global volunteers is dedicated to helping improve the health and lives of children and young adults.

After the 30-foot-tall Lego tree is lit, fireworks light up the sky and snow showers theme park guests from above, kicking off Legoland California's month-long Holly Jolly Holidays.

More than 245,000 forest green Duplo bricks click together to create this one-of-a-kind holiday tree at Legoland California. Adorned with nearly 400 Lego ornaments, including colorful bulbs and 1,000 lights, this Lego brick tree towers over the main entrance of the 128-acre family theme park in Carlsbad.

Carlsbad Patch will be at the ceremony and bring you video coverage from the event.
