Brush up on your Chicken dance! The 30th annual Carlsbad Rotary Oktoberfest, a fall family
tradition of feasting, fun and fundraising, is scheduled from noon until 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at Holiday Park. It will again bring thousands of people to enjoy German food (and beer!), live music and entertainment for children.
The event features the popular Pumpkin Patch where children can decorate pumpkins and compete for prizes.
Moon jumps, clowns, face painting and caricaturists will keep the little ones entertained.
Admission is free. Dinner tickets are only $10 and can be
purchased in advance from any Carlsbad Rotarian, at Tip Top Meats at 6118 Paseo Del Norte in Carlsbad or at Al’s Café in the Village at 795 Carlsbad Village Drive or same day at the event. For more information, visit www.rotaryoktoberfest.org.
Holiday Park is located between Tamarack Avenue and Carlsbad Village Drive off the I-5 Freeway. A free
shuttle bus is available from the SW corner (Marron at Monroe) of the Westfield Plaza Camino Real Mall at 20-minute intervals from11:30AM until 10:30PM.
Rotary volunteers have raised over a million dollars to date. 100% of the net proceeds are given
to local charities, scholarships and other community projects.
