Global Spotlight: Jamie Laval

As part of its Global Spotlight Concert Series, which celebrates the diversity of music from around the world, the Museum of Making Music presents premier Celtic violinist Jamie Laval.  Laval’s passionate performances of traditional Scottish, Irish and British music have made him one of the foremost violinists on the international music scene. Laval’s ability to transform folk melodies into epic tonal narratives makes his sound appealing to families, youth, seniors and devotees of ethnic, jazz and classical music.
