As part of its Global Spotlight Concert Series, which celebrates the diversity of music from around the world, the Museum of Making Music presents ensemble group Quetzal. The group of highly talented musicians joined for the goal of creating good music that tells the social, cultural, political and musical stories of people in struggle. Lead vocals are provided by Martha Gonzalez, and Chicano rock guitarist Quetzal Flores weaves Chicano music and folk instruments into a unique blend to give the band a powerful sound.
