Summer Music Camp

With a combination of hands-on instruction and group performances, Summer Music Camp at the Museum of Making Music gives San Diego-area children a chance to explore their own musicality and develop music skills in a friendly and educational environment.

The camp takes place July 16 – 20, 2012 from 9 a.m. to noon each day and includes breakout sessions and ensemble sessions. Camp instructor Ed Roscetti – a Los Angeles-based drummer, composer, author and educator – and his five-member teaching staff will help campers gain experience on drumset, hand drums, hand percussion, bass, guitar and piano. Children ages 9 through 18 can participate and musical experience isn’t necessary.
