Wild West Fest

The city's Parks & Recreation department presents Wild West Fest, an homage to the days when cowboys ruled the site. Featuring a bucking bronco, pony rides, arts and crafts, demonstrations of stunts and shootouts and the chance to put a loved one in “jail.”

Some activities require purchase of a $5 activity card. Parking is available at Carrillo Elementary School with access to the ranch through the school field.

Entries also are being accepted for the salsa-making contest. Categories include best overall, people’s choice, best presentation, best restaurant salsa, best fruit salsa, hottest and most unique.  There is no entry fee, but pre-registration is required by May 10.  Entry forms are available online.
