Women in Jazz

Six of San Diego's best female jazz artists come together for a special evening celebrating the feminine side of jazz and the work of female composer from around the world on March 31, 2012 at 7 p.m. The evening features vocalist Allison Adams Tucker, flutist Lori Bell, pianist Jaeryoung Lee, contrabassist Evona Wascinski, drummer Laurel Grinnell, and percussionist Monette Marino. This concert is inspired by and commemorates SWAN Day (Support Women Artists Now), Women's History Month, and San Diego Women's Week.
