Holiday Concert with Carols from Around the World

North County jazz vocalist Allison Adams Tucker performs at Carlsbad City Library Learning Center on Dec. 1.

Multi-lingual jazz vocalist Allison Adams Tucker joins pianist Danny Green and drummer Julien Cantelm at the Carlsbad City Library Learning Center for a free concert highlighting jazz-inspired music from around the world with a touch of the holiday spirit. From big band swing to Brazilian sambas, Mexican boleros to French chansons, the Allison Adams Tucker Trio will be sharing music and cultural stories from across the globe that bring us all closer together.

The concert takes place on Monday, Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited and first come, first served. The Carlsbad City Library Learning Center is located at 3368 Eureka Place, adjacent to Holiday Park. 

Allison sings in seven languages and her travels and music have taken her to more than 15 countries. Her CD “Come With Me,” released by Allegato Music in 2008, has received airplay in 18 countries and was nominated for Best Jazz Album 2009 at the San Diego Music Awards.
