It's a Cajun Christmas at Carlsbad City Library

Celebrate the holidays with San Diego's favorite Zydeco group The Bayou Brothers.

Looking for something different to do this holiday season? Join Carlsbad City Library and The Bayou Brothers for a trip to Louisiana without leaving Carlsbad! San Diego’s favorite Zydeco group The Bayou Brothers are known for rocking their audiences into “Fat Tuesday” with their blend of family-friendly Zydeco, blues and R&B music. “Expect some really fun holiday music played in our own Cajun fashion and sing-along Christmas songs we all know and love,” says Ric Lee, Bayou Brothers co-founder and drummer/percussionist.

The Bayou Brothers will perform in the library’s Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium, located at 1775 Dove Lane, on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. Seating is limited and free tickets are distributed beginning at 1 p.m. the day of the concert at Schulman Auditorium.

Founded in 1995 by Lee and John Chambers, The Bayou Brothers have played festivals and at concert venues all over the southwestern United States and in Europe. With a band featuring guitar, bass, accordion, keyboards, drums, rubboard and three-part harmonies, The Bayou Brothers are known for their upbeat shows.
