Library Hosts Author Teresa Link and Write Out Loud Nov. 13

Link's new book "Denting the Bosch: A Novel of Marriage, Friendship and Expensive Household Appliances" is set in North County.

Former North County resident Teresa Link will discuss and sign her new book “Denting the Bosch: A Novel of Marriage, Friendship and Expensive Household Appliances” at Carlsbad City Library’s Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. Actors from Write Out Loud will read sections of the book, which is set in North County.

“Tess Link and Write Out Loud first became acquainted several years ago,” says Write Out Loud founder Walter Ritter. “She contacted us because she was very interested in Write Out Loud's practice of reading short stories aloud. Seems she had done precisely the same thing in Connecticut with her company LiveLit.  We hit it off immediately and have been friends ever since. In addition to being a writer, she is a fine actress with many credits in New York and elsewhere.”

Link has performed with Write Out Loud on several occasions and this will be the first time the group has brought her words to life for a special event. Write Out Loud will introduce the audience to key characters from "Denting the Bosch" and Link will answer questions and sign her book.
