Emmy-Award Winning Show Comes to Carlsbad

Schoolhouse Rock is live over at the Carlsbad Community Theatre this month.

Conjunction Junction, what is your function? You can find out next weekend at the Carlsbad Community Theatre.

We all know Schoolhouse Rock from rainy days at school. The teacher would pop in the fun and educational videos that featured cartoons singing clever and witty songs that taught us grammar, science, math and history.

The loveable classic videos and hit songs are now coming to life on stage at the Carlsbad Village Theatre in Schoolhouse Rock—Live! Jr. Youth performers will sing out the classics, like I’m Just a Bill and Lolly, Lolly, Lolly Get Your Adverbs Here while performing cute dance numbers to go with them.

The entertaining production is great for all ages and is showing three days with five performances total.

Ready to rock out to fun and educational songs? (We won’t tell if you sing louder than your kids!) Schoolhouse Rock—Live Jr. will be at the Carlsbad Community Theatre Feb. 24, 25 and 26. Tickets are $15 (or $12 each for groups of 10 or more) and are available online here. Showtimes are as follows:

  • Feb. 24: 7 p.m.
  • Feb. 25: 2 and 7 p.m.
  • Feb. 26: 2 p.m.

Unpack your adjectives and have fun!

Aristotle felt that by becoming licensed professionals in the U.S. shortly after their arrival to the shores of the U.S., they would have a greater opportunity to receive better clinical positions when they applied for the work-study internships that they were eligible to participate in....' the school told students that were enrolled in masters' degrees that certification as a cna was part of the road to obtaining a masters degree ?? stop right there... masters in public health is an administrative position that has nothing to do with being a cna....and i'm sure people didn't travel thousands of miles to do the grunt work in a hospital.... yea, getting a cna license is a great suggestion for an 18 year old that's going into the nursing field....but not for someone in the masters' program.... and fyi phony college.....in this country a person has to have a 4 year degree before they can apply for the masters' program....
