Now it's J. Lo's turn to exit American Idol
Jennifer Lopez announces that she is leaving the American Idol judges crew.
On Thursday it was Steven Tyler who announced he wouldn’t be back on the American Idol judging panal, today it’s Jennifer Lopez making a smilar proclamation.
She won’t return this season and don’t be surprised if the third judge – Randy Jackson – is moved off the judging panel and into a mentoring role. That would mean wholesale changes for the judges and it would also mean that former San Diego resident and AI runnerup Adam Lambert would be a certainty for one of the chairs if AI execs can work out a deal with him.
