Is it too late to contact the city and ask them to humanely relocate the bees? We are too extreme in our removal and often destruction of bees, which play such a vital part of our Eco-system and ultimately our local economy and the beauty of our city.

It's probably not too late. You could try contacting them. Keep us posted.

Just wanted everyone to know we checked it out today, and the bees had moved on already. We do see more bee activity this time of year and will keep an eye out. If you have a concern about bees on city property (like parks, trails, etc.), you can call us at 760-434-2824.
