Every Thursday, the county animal shelter in Carlsbad does microchipping, dog licensing and rabies vaccinations and spay/neuter coupons.
Animal Services will microchip pets at the clinic for a one-time fee of $20, which includes the chip’s registration.
Owners can also pick up coupons good for $50 towards spaying and $25 towards neutering dogs and cats at their veterinarian.
