Prices up in San Diego according to S&P/Case-Shiller

S&P/Case-Shiller Index Report shows prices rise

The market continues its slow and steady climb

A recent article in the San Diego Daily Transcript reported that the monthly S&P/Case-Shiller Index for May was just released.  The data shows that home prices in San Diego increased in May over April by an average of 1%.  This follows the 1.4% increase from March to April.  In addition, home prices across the nation rose by an average of 2.2% from April to May.

In comparing last year’s prices to this year’s prices, we are 1.1% lower this May compared to May 2011.  It does indeed seem as though we are bouncing along the bottom of the market.

I don't even know where to begin on how reprehensible and unethical this agent is. Bryan Devore has done so many things to actively lower the home value of every home in the Carlsbad area. All in a self-serving effort to move a sale along to get his commission as quickly as possible without regard for his client or community. I'm not just talking about unethical behavior, I'm talking about ILLEGAL activity. Bryan Devore has provided misleading paperwork to fool and defraud my bank about the status of a short sale and has told potential buyers the absolute lowest bid a bank will accept in order to get the sale done quickly. This lowered the value of not only my home... but also every home in the Rancho Carrillo area by almost $90,000. Would you hire an agent who purposely worked to short you and your entire community almost $100,000?

California seriously needs Republicans to return and reclaim the 55 Electoral votes this stateRead More represents to the presidential elections. Three Democratic cities are bankrupt and more are threatened.

I'd say the recent events against which they were protesting are far more consequential than aRead More freeway traffic back-up. Just a guess.

How did they cause a backup, exactly? I'm asking because I saw them, and am wondering how theyRead More backed it up. If it's because people were slowing to read the signs, you can't really get mad at them for that.

I stopped using Internet Explorer years ago. Firefox is safer and the possibility of getting aRead More virus is much less. I have no issues with Firefox.

And if you use an IPAD early in the day as I do, the problem is that there is so much on each pageRead More that it is hard to scroll with your finger(s) because there is just so much clutter that you keep losing your story to an annoying ad.
