Elevator was recently recognized for it's work with creating small-budget video ads for a client under a tight deadline. Carlsbad Patch caught up with the creative agency's founder Frank Cowell. In one of the videos, Cowell's daughter who attends Aviara Oaks Elementary, showed off her acting talents. Cowell describes his Carlsbad-based company and the video campaign that won his business national attention.
Carlsbad Patch: What is Elevator? What services do you provide?
Elevator is a creative agency based in Carlsbad and works with progressive brands to help them gain preference among target customers. We work in the areas of brand development, marketing, advertising and marketing support.
Carlsbad Patch: Tell us about the award you won?
Elevator led the creative strategy on the “I Can Print” video campaign. The campaign featured a viral launch video in support of the company’s iOS print enabling device, the xPrintServer™ - Network Edition, which was promoted online, on the website, at events, embedded in releases, and more. As a result of producing and distributing the video, Lantronix recognized more than 400 percent return on investment on their marketing investment within just three months of launching the xPrintServer. At the end of six months, the product achieved an overall return of more than 200 percent, recouping costs of all engineering, research and development and other integral product investments.
Why did you choose Carlsbad to base your business?
We are committed to raising the profile of Carlsbad and want to let others know that there are creative professionals like us in North County. We are moving our offices soon, and we looked in our area for more than a year to find our next space in the Village. We believe in the area and feel Carlsbad has a lot to offer.
