Carlsbad Cinco De Mayo Happy Hour Guide
Cinco de Mayo may be a patriotic day in Mexico, but in America it's also considered "Cinco de Drink-o."
Not to be confused with Mexico's Independence Day, Cinco de Mayo is actually a holiday that commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, explain Wikipedia.
In Carlsbad and cities across American the day is often seen as a good reason to have a margarita, or make that a pitcher.
If you want to get your eat and drink on locally (and at a discount), here are seven Cinco De Mayo Happy Hours:

- Happy Hour all day till 6pm. Located at 2939 Carlsbad Boulevard.
El Torito – 4pm till close $2 off Cadillac margaritas $2 tacos, taquitos, wings and other drink specials (regular Happy Hour priced menu not available). Located at 1068 North El Camino Real in Encinitas but not too far from the Carlsbad border.
