Carlsbad-based SPY is at it again. The local business posted another billboard on Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas that will get you thinking... and it may be controversial, again.
It simply has the message "HTFU" on it.
In the past, the maker of sunglasses had posted “Happy to Sit on Your Face” to promote its new Happy Lens, a line of sunglasses designed to make whoever wears them happier by letting in more sunshine to boost serotonin levels in the brain, and another billboard with "Happiness Is Coming..."

SPY is asking readers what the new message means too. On it's Facebook page it posted:
We are Happy to put a smile on people's faces with our new billboard in Encinitas, California, but what does it mean? Comment on this post with what you think "HTFU" means, and here's a hint, it's always good to start with HAPPY. The person with the happiest, most creative answer will win a new pair of SPY sunglasses with the Happy Lens!
