Watch Live as Legoland Hotel Gets Built
The resort set up a live webcam of the construction so people can watch it being built from home.
Pirate-themed rooms are part of the nation's first . The three-story, 250-room hotel is scheduled to open summer 2013.
Until then, people can watch the hotel under construction via webcam by logging onto oxblue.com/open/rdolson/legoland.
According to a press release, "the Lego themed hotel will feature brightly colored, interactive Lego décor, a pool and lounge area, patio, event space and buffet restaurant. Legoland Hotel will be the first of its kind in North America and is designed for families with young children and will feature rooms and suites themed after the most popular Legoland areas: Pirate, Kingdom and Adventure."
