Family-Friendly New Year’s Eve Bash

Families, couples, singles and friends are invited to ring in 2012 at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa and Twenty/20 Grill & Wine Bar with special events planned for all ages and bedtimes. Ping-pong, video games, face painting, arts & crafts, karaoke and dancing will entertain the little ones and make their New Year’s Eve special and fun. A kid’s buffet complete with Mac N Cheese and Mini Hot Dogs will also be available. For the more sophisticated palette, adults can indulge in freshly tossed salads, hot main dishes including Frutti Di Mare and Petite Fillet Mignon. Meanwhile, those celebrating New Year’s without the kids are invited to enjoy a five-course pre-fixed menu at Twenty/20 Grill & Wine Bar. Wine and champagne can also be pre-purchased and full cash bars will be available.

6 p.m.:                                Legoland Fireworks

6:30-9 p.m.:                        Dinner Buffet

6:30-11 p.m.:                      Arts & crafts, face painting, board games, dancing, karaoke, etc.

8-12:30 a.m.:                      Steal Dawn 80s-90s cover band

9 p.m.:                                Kids countdown and balloon drop

Midnight:                             Countdown and balloon drop

Ticket information:

• Adults (18 & up): $75 if purchased on or before December 11; $90 if purchased on or after December 12; $115 on or after December 30.
• Kids (13-17): $40 if purchased on or before December 11; $45 if purchased on or after December 12; $70 if purchased on or after December 30.
• Kids (4-12): $20 if purchased on or before November 30; $30 if purchased on or after December 1, $55 if purchased on or after December 30.
• Kids (3 & under): Free.  A pre-purchased ticket is required.
