Finicky Octopi Delay Opening of Octopus Garden at SeaLife Aquarium
The aquarium's newest exhibit was supposed to open Friday but has been pushed back a few days.
Friday was the expected grand opening of SeaLife Aquarium at Legoland's new Octopus Garden exhibit. However, aquarium officials said the opening was postponed a few days because the finicky octopi didn't like their new digs.
Octopus Garden, named after the Beatles song, will be an interactive exhibit featuring cephalopods, cuttlefish and nautilus. The squishy creatures are sensitive to water and temperature conditions, so workers will try to adjust the tank so it's more amenable to the denizens.
